Volkswagen has officially revealed the Mk6 Golf's swansong: the production-ready Golf R Cabriolet. First seen at the 2011's Worthersee enthusiast show, the new Golf R Cabriolet packs the same 266bhp engine as its hard-top sister, but loses its all-wheel drive underpinnings. Toyota has released these images of the latest variant of the ever-popular Yaris/Vitz city car. Whilst growing in every direction over the outgoing model, the new car manages to be around 30 kilos lighter than the model it replaces. The exterior has received a thorough revision, being designed under the moniker of 'agility and sophistication'.

This is Nissan’s funky new third-generation Cube, unveiled at the LA Auto Show today and set to go on sale in North America in spring 2009. But the big news is that Nissan will also finally sell this new Cube officially in the UK, so the Fiat 500 and Mini will have an edgy new Japanese rival from early next year. The Nissan Cube, eh?
